In 2008 we lost some great comic writers, artists, inkers, and publishers. Though they all deserve mentioning I am dedicating this blog session to one man in particular, Michael Turner. Turner is by far my favorite artist and has been since I got into comics in 2003. Unfortunatly he passed away in late June of a type of bone cancer. As some may know, Turner founded the comic book publishing company Aspen after leaving his position at Top Cow. Aside from that Turner is probably most famous for his art on the covers of popular franchise icons including Superman, Flash and the Incredible Hulk. Michael Turner will be missed but his legacy will always live on.
